Re: Dakota M10, Browning 1885 or Searcy Single shot

G'Day Fella's

Thank you for your input and advice on this subject.
I can't help it John Moses Browning not only designed practical but an attractive, well shaped firearm. I'm a firm believer in Form Follows Function and Mr Browning excelled at both!
Yes, it would be a modern Miroku/Browning manufactured action.

Let me say, the Martini-Hagn is a very attractive and robust looking action but it does look a bit like the Searcy single shot. Are they one and the same?

The Blaser K05 and Merkel single shot (one & the same) are exceedingly nice firearms but I was particularly after a falling block action.

Any one have any experience with the Dakota M10? They look to be quite small and I assume lightweight?
