Re: Rifle caliber choice in a Combo, Cape or Drilling

Thanks for the input. I like the ideas and they are in the same vain I am thinking. I am wishing there was a reliable extraction system for rimless then it would be a 12x.30'06 and a O/U 375 H&H. But a 30R Blaser and a 375 Flng. will surely suffice. The raw materials for the project are still in negoiation, we shall see.

XAUSA,
I have admired that Teck, I like them alot. Decisions, decisions..........

DuggaBoy,
I am with you, I had a late friend who had 2 Vierlings. 1 bought in Austria during a business trip, he was a fairly famous bakery owner. The 2nd was a gift from his wife for 40 years marriage. The first I don't know for sure but the 2nd I do indeed as I shot that. It was a Scherling (sic) 12x12 over a .30'06 with a .22hornet in between the gun and rifle barrels. It had a claw mounted 4x S&B on it at 8lbs. He teamed it with a Churchill bolt in .458wm. never looking back and never wanting more.
