Bestboss - I plan to get it out tomorrow afternoon to see how it shoots.

Kamilaroi - Where do you mean by "forward of the Knock's form"? The proofs I have found so far are the usual Birmingham 1905-1925 marking on the barrel, frame (you can sort of see this one, it's up on the receiver ring in between the engraving pattern) and breech block. There is also the prior proofing on the breech block, I would think there would be one on the frame as well.

Daryl_S - Whoever did the case colors did a good job, they kept it very british looking. Even though there is some wear in the colors on some of the edges I think it has been done much more recently than the barrel change (I estimate that to be 1915-1925).
