Bonanza, I'm not a collector but do have a special interest in single shots. One is a 22LR falling block made in the '30s in Germany [marked only FLZ] .Very accurate ,octagon barrel ,1 lb trigger. I learned to shoot with it , talk about being spoiled !Still use it too !! As a companion piece I got a Browning 1885 in 45-70 .See the recent thread "Browning 1885 help ? " with link to photos to show my mods.Yes I'd like an in between gun .[the low wall just doesn't turn me on]
The years of using a SS still give me the 'make the first shot count' attitude.It's the only way to teach a kid!
