Seriously, did you do a chamber cast yet? A chamber cast will show the chamber shape and give you something to measure from.

I wonder if that could be a Snider or P53 barrel someone screwed on that action. Was the Snider or P53 barrel that long? Look at the extractor and extractor cuts, are they rough or crude?

I need to get a copy of Skennerton's Broad Arrow and check the marks again.
