I'll pitch in a "yea" for the .303 British. I currently do most of my hunting with a pair of 7x57 rifles, a Ruger #1 and a Ruger 77. Just for the history involved, I'd sure like a #1 in .303, which will do anything you need done within 220 yards or so.
