It would be nice if the 412's were lighter, but the extra weight does mean extra strength. It probably doesn't matter in the smaller cartridges though. I've carried mine many a mile, hunting over my dog, but mostly hunting all over Alaska... ![]() One thing about the 412's, they are VERY accurate, and from my experience, they will out shoot most other brands of conbo's... I even took the scope off and reinstalled it between shots when shooting this target. ![]() The 412 scope system is VERY reliable, is made of steel, and should last a lifetime... Lastly, i don't like hammer combo's at all... I much prefer a hammerless, with double triggers, so that i have an "instant" choise of bbls., no matter what bbl. set i have on my 412 action. DM |
