Hartmann & Weiss was founded in 1965 by two James Purdey & Sons master gunsmiths. There craftsmanship is on par with Peter Nelson (PV Nelson), and Peter Hofer. They put an extraordinary amount of time into each and every gun they produce, I imagine these were around 500 hours each. They use Hagn and Heeren actions for there single shots, as well as a full sidelock ejector in single barrel form.

Hagn in Canada actually also sells the actions or barreled actions, in the white, so anyone could make one if they so wish.

These three guns in particular were manufactured as exhibition show guns, and were on display for about a two years before they were sold off. They are magnificent in person. If you haven't yet had a chance to handle one of there guns, I suggest you do so, every single detail is flawless.
