Hey All,

If I wanted to have a gunsmith slightly shorten and install a beavertail forend onto my stainless .458 Lott, which model forend would I need to buy that would require the least amount of channel cutting and fitting? Would a 1V varmint barrel countour be pretty close?

Has anyone done this or have any suggestions (other than keep the AH style forend)?
