Just how big can the GP go?
|
|
Hello all, just wondering how big a round/bore can the Greener GP shotguns take? I've seen one in 12 bore, gorgeous. Compliments to the owner.
Cheers Merry Christmas for tommorow!

I have a GP action that I plan to one day build on. The extractor fits a 12ga rim very nicely, but how long of a shell: 2.5 or 2.75? The barrel threads on the receiver are 14 tpi but larger than the one inch found on the rifle barrels.

go for the 12ga 2,5" paradox round and you are fine

Those police guns are better project material - at least the have a solid receiver, and not the split one of the Greener GP, which is its main limiting factor.

When I read "split receiver" I went and looked at mine knowing it was solid. It's a Greener EG not GP.
