This is a 303 British Gibbs rifle also, originally a .461 sporter but later converted to 303.This rifle was owned by the same man since 1952 and I just took ownership 2 weeks ago.I'm going to shoot it this week along with the other Gibbs pictured on this forum.

Man, nice rifles...
Was this one actually rebarreled or lined to .303?
If a Gibbs Farquharson is rebarreled, how would one discover what the original chambering was?
Is the action engraved?
