I have eaten them once but they were par boiled.... so they were cooked but not mushy. I recall hearing about them when I was a youngster in Highschool, the outdoor education course ( which I was not permitted to take... long story) held camping weekends whereby they had to sustain themselves on wild vegitation and game (mostly fish) for the excursion. Friends of mine told me of them upon their return to school... it wasnt untill years after when i tried them... my wife brought them home, if memory serves,I recall they tasted like a mild broccoli or was it cauliflower. whatever the case they didnt do much for me either way.
