Yes the Mossy Oak is definently a California blended, sorry if I made it sound otherwise. Seems as if the Black Swan is just a marketing image. The front label clearly states South Eastern Australia, and on the back it goes to say that the black swan is a captivating creature that symbolizes the "beauty of our vineyards and bold elegance of our wines". "Vinted and Bottled by Barossa Valley Wine Company PTY, LTD, Adelaide, South Australia." Shiraz is growing in popularity a lot in the US (according to people who "know"). That and Pinot Grigio are making inroads against the popularity of Merlot and Chardonnay (the most popular red and white). |
