I had a very nice White wine the other night at home. A Cape Jaffa Mt Benson Chardonnay. Tropical fruits and peaches.

Cape Jaffa is on the Limestone Coast of South Australia and is a cool climate zone due to the Southern Ocean washing its shores only a few kilometres away.

The seafood down there is also marvellous including fresh crayfish which can be bought fresh from the pier.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Hooper's Beach house in Robe in December a couple of seasons ago and getting a personal tour of their winery and vineyard.
