while in Puebla Mexico on business, I took the opportunity to sample some of the fair from the insect kingdom we had ant eggs, some worm larvae, and crickets.

the ant eggs were bland, to the point of taistless, the worm larvae were quite tasty with a crunchy outer shell and creamy centre, and the crickets were not all that good in taste or tetxture.

all of these were orderded as apetizers and done on a quasi dare by the locals who thought I wouldnt eat what they put in front of me....... they new that they lost the challenge when I orderd a second plate of the worms for the table.
