Lagavulin, a Scotch Whiskey from the Isle of Islay of the south coast of Scotland is where its at for me! drink it neat at room temp with just a teaspoon of distilled water, grab a good book and let the magic happen! all the Whiskey's from Islay have a definite and distinctive flavour not found in any other region of the country, becasue its coastal, it has defintite sea salt almost iodine notes not nearly as smokey as most single malts..... that may sound off putting, but, trust me, its damn good Scotch!
