You obviouly do all of it by hand.

All we did was cut any vines left pointing down and any around the posts
and that was bad enough !!!

What I meant was - if ALL the vines had to be cut back by hand
then it would be an even worse job.

I understand from your comment that some vineyards still do
it all by hand.

You can have it as a job.
