Deer, moose, elk liver - sliced very thinly, into a VERY hot bacon greased pan - 3 seconds, flip - 3 seconds then onto the plate with boiled baby potatoes soaked in butter, salt and pepper along with a nice ale - perfect end to a hunt - and for breakfast the next day - sub good strong fresh coffee for ale - maybe. Doesn't need milk, btw - very tender, juicy with mild flavour, unlike beef liver which could use milk or any other additive to try to make it palatable. |
