Being up here in Norway, salmon is probably the fish we use the most. It's good broiled, simmered, grilled, in soups, and then we use it a lot in when we make asian food like fried noodles etc. Not to mention using it for sushi/sashimi. But I've never tried it with maple syrup! So I'll be trying that soon as possible Anne! Vapodog, I think I won't try your version of smoking salmon! Prefer it the traditional way... Plus I quite smoking several years ago! Erik |
