A little over a year ago, I purchased one of those Food Saver Professional Models you see advertised on TV so often. I wanted to wait until I had some experience and time with it until I posted any comments on it. I have to say that it is a winner! I only use it for vacuum packing meats, cheese, and fish, as well as sealing up open bottles of wine. Let me tell you that nothing I have sealed with it over the past year has gotten any freezer burn, or suffered any loss of flavor. When I reseal the wine, it lasts for almost 6 weeks before I notice any deterioration in flavor. If any of you were thinking about getting one, I suggest you go for it. You won't be disappointed. |
