Savoury Damper Recipe Savoury Damper is great for BBQS. Ingredients: 2 cups of Self-Raising flour ½ Teaspoon of Salt 1/4 teaspoon Ground Pepper 2 Teaspoons of Sugar 1 teaspoon Olive oil ½ teaspoon mixed herbs ½ teaspoon Sesame seeds ¾ Cup of Beer [Not flat, or secret ingredient] Add all the dry ingredients together including olive oil and mix then whisk in the beer and kneed by hand. Up to a 100 Kneads. = Knead mixing by hand [Squeezing] If the mixture is sticky add a little more flour, the dough should hold together well without breaking up. Cook in a camp oven for approx 30 minutes. OR Cook in a preheated oven at 160d for 35 to45 minutes or until Golden Brown. Serve hot with butter. |
