Coopers from South Australia - Coopers Sparkling Ale, Coopers Bitter - Coopers are available in the USA, not sure which states though. They have quite an export market also for home brew kits;

there is a brand of beer in Australia with the name "Hahn" - you can't go wrong with that name on the beer eg "Long Brew";

another SA brewery makes the Southwark Premium brand which also good;

Vic Bitter is drinkable even if it comes from Victoria

Gryph's story about rubber boots (Wellingtons etc) brought to mind a story. When I attended High School I had a lot of friends in the agriculture class (a "stream" of study with an emphasis on agricultural studies - "agates"). Their teacher was a bit of an idiot and he could never work out why they all used to laugh at him when he went to check the school's sheep.
