Why Cigar Smoking is not big in Australia is because of the Prices Charged for Decent Cigars.. 6-7 yrs ago I was in the USA TX and FLA for 6 weeks and smoked 2-3 Cigars a day average cost then was 89 cents to 1.40 USd, at 76 aussie cents to the Aussie dollar they were about a 1/4 of the price of equivalent sized Cigars in Oz. Granted they were not Cubans but they were not bad, as For Cuban Cigars they are heavy, heady, stuff, not to be smoked in a ute over a 25 k drive home from work.. Trust me on that one, I speak from experience.. Scotch Wet a mates baby's head with Johnnie Walker Blue Label $270 a bottle, nice stuff but not that much better than Glenfiddich at $48 a bottle Oz dollars quoted.. As for Port getting 40 Litres from Griffith in the next week at growers rates.. Luke in Oz |
