Their boutique winery looks like it is serious, traditional on the outside (Mid West) but modern on the inside. The wine range looks to be on a lighter sweeter style, which probably appeals to the US market. Would be interesting to know the weather/seasonal variations in Illinois. The winters I imagine are very cold, what are the springs, summer and autumns like? Just interested. Vineyards and grapes like dryer months in Summer and Autumn with warm sunny weather for good ripening without increased disease risk from too much moisture, enough but not too much. Farmers are always hard to please. ![]() |
