I enjoyed a nice Bolivar No. 2 last night along with several Sumatran cigarettos. Paying the price today. I like Cuban Bolivars and Montecristos. Cuaba are also good. Plus a whole bunch of others which the winery I used to work for sold in its cellar door. As a sundowner I enjoy a nice cold anise or anisette spirit and Coke. Perhaps a Southern Comfort. Sometimes a vodka. I do like a Tawny or Vintage Port as well, but partake much too rarer. Must get back into drinking port. After dinner a Sambucca, black or white with three coffee beans and good coffee goes well with a cigar. A very special fortified wine is a Pedro Ximines which I have several bottles of. A white fortified made from the grapes sherries are made from, but not made like a sherry, instead a white fortified. Very nice. Cognac such as Remy Martin and Courvousier is also quite drinkable. Haven't found a Scotch I enjoy yet. |
