I’ve had several rangefinding binoculars. First off Zeiss RF 10x45, they were really bad in low light compared with other binos. Leica 10x40(42?) banana shaped binos with memory card. Excellent rangefinding and trajectory, but really sucked in low light conditions. Finally EL-Range 10x40 from Swaro, pre-21, which is THE hunting binoculars!!!! They Excel in compactness and low light conditions. They are the best I have had to date. Swapped it for the New edition, and it is also crystal clear and excel in low light conditions. Measure very well under all conditions. Outer surfaces seems a bit cheaper than the other one? Haven’t used the tracking function yet, but will use it when Tahr-hunting on the west coast of New Zealand. Finding the game shooting across gully in that forest makes finding the game a bit hard sometimes.... |
