I run several Aimpoints. The 9000L on the 416 Rigby, H2 on a 308 and a CompML2, an earlier version of the Compoc3 on the 35 Whelen. If you wind the brightness up so it is to bright it appears as a star, turn the power down a bit. They have the longest battery life of the Red dots and one of the more durable. Mine are 2 MOA

Most think of red dots as short range sights. They can be used as far as you are capable of. Think of the old open sights, people used them out past 300mts. These are quicker and a bit more precise.
