Same as my French shot and ball gun, 2 1/2". I'll keenly follow your progress and loads. A year ago! Gathering dust.

What's the best to use, normal plastic hulls, or brass hulls?
What shotgun powder do you have?
I've not thought about what powder is used for the "ball" loads as well?
Shotgun powder is hard to get. I do have some old Du Pont 800X. I've been planning to use 800X for my .38 Super handgun. But I don't have any handgun reloading gear yet.
The gun was supplied with a good lot of new Winchester compression formed plastic cases and roll crimping tooling.
It has been a very long time since I have reloaded shotgun cartridges, but I think I still have an old can of Hercules Green Dot powder in my inventory. I definitely need to do some more research on current powders etc for these type guns.
