I also assume "paradox" guns have open chokes. Cylinder, no actual choking except for the rifling?

That brings up another question.

Does the rifling in a muzzle rifled bore, protrude into the bore? Or cut into the existing barrel bore? i.e. lands protrude into the bore OR rifling cut into the existing barrel?
