Quote: Yes, Damascus barrels. The metal finish seems to be all original. Action & lock plates worn to a nice patina with some faded case color in the protected areas. Damascus is not badly worn, just some age and use fading of the Damascus. Barrels and chambers are bright & shiny, no evident wear. Buttstock has been refinished tho shows pretty well in spite of that. This one has a 5 digit W&C Scott number ahead of the fore end loop that dates to 1881.
