He's using double the weight bullets than I shot. I just used a 480gr. round ball, but with 191gr. 2F GOEX. Then I bought a couple moulds casting larger balls, but never got around to testing them. A friend needed that SxS more than I did, so away it went.
I did have to repair the stock after firing the first BP loads noted above. It turned me around backwards, first time I shot it. Wasn't prepared for the recoil.
I'm assuming he was using 150gr. of BP don't know make or granulation size.
Greener mentions 3 loads back in the day:
about 4.2drams = 115gr.
about 5 drams = 136gr.
------7 drams = 191gr.
