This is a beautiful gun. However, at 24 pounds, it would be difficult (for me) to mount and swing on waterfowl, particularly from a boat.

I think many 2 bore and 4 bore waterfowl guns were made for market hunters shooting birds on the water and as such, were somewhat plain guns that would be exposed to the harsh salty marsh environment.

Still, it is a beautiful gun and the product of a master gun maker.
