After contemplating buying the Ugartechea Slug Gun, I started to search the old posts about just cutting the chokes off an old shotgun and making my own. It seems as if quite a few guys made them with good results. I wanted a classic look so I purchased a vintage Simson 12 gauge. Hopefully it shoots decent groups with 22 to 24” barrels. Any recommendations on the best slugs to try out first?
