PETERLONGO IN INNSBRUCK', with open sights, folding leaf sight and bead fore-sight, carved serpentine fences with diamond and dot engraving, nickelled lining plates to the striker channels, horn-encased Lefaucheux patent forward facing underlever, permanently attached fore-end, rebounding back-action locks with ornately carved dolphin hammers (one lightly damaged), set triggers, broad triggerguard with scrolled horn pistolgrip, the action, lockplates and furniture carved with bold acanthus surrounding game scenes of wild boar, roe deer, red deer, pointer and chamois, 13 3/8in. stock with cheekpiece and steel buttplate, missing sling eye, minor losses to edges of fore-end wood, weight 8lb. 3oz.
