There is no choking to speak of. It is fully rifled. The “rifling” is of a form reminiscent of Charles Lancaster’s oval bore patent, with wide, shallow, “grooves”. They run full length, and, the rifling is barely visible as a pattern of light and shadow when the bores are held up to a light.
This is typically called "invisible rifling".
