A full 10dram of Swiss 1,5F will push a 900grain conical 1735 Ft/sec. Interestingly 10dram to a 982grain conical 1650-1700 ft/sec. That´s from a 10bore!. The power of the these 10bore stands in shade of the slightly bigger 8bore. However a heavy 10bore rifle weighs 14Ibs the 8bore add 3Ibs more. Hauling around all day I am sure 3 Ibs difference might feels a easier at the end of the day.
