Had to laugh at the "6" Bore. RIA needs to open up a new can of gun appraisers! The proof marks were read upside down and instead of a 1/6 being a 6 Bore it is actually a 9/1 which is the normal proof for a paper case 8 Bore. Still a nice rifle though. My 17 pound 12 ounce 8 Bore double rifle is also a "9" proof. Also, why NEVER a mention of bore condition. Did you notice the weight of the Perrins 8 Bore? 12 pounds? OUCH. It appears to be recently totally reconditioned. WAY over estimated on value, has been around for a while. |
