Thomas Wild was/is a maker from Birmingham, over in the West Midlands. I feel they where a best maker. I believe they statred in business as a barrel supplier during the Crimean, if not they where a old company, died with the War to end all wars and revived under a umbrella company I believe. I do not know who the current holder (I think it is A.A. Brown, but ???) is, but if memory serves they are housed with Webley&Scott, Midland, Bonehill, Morrow, Ketland, Bland and so forth. I rather like there small bore hammer guns. I have owned one and brokered a few. They trade for 2-4000us, so a Paradox in high condition should make the 6Kus mark. |
