I've always wanted to have a 12 bore rifle. I've owned 2 double rifles in 12 bore but really like the looks of a single. I bought this Jeffery last month to rebarrel into a rifle. The barrel won't pass proof and has been sold as a stock, action and forearm only. The barrel comes with it but it will have a large hole ground into it in front of the forearm. I will have a new barrel sleeved into it. I'd like to start getting parts together now so please advise away. My thoughts on how I would like it to turn out. I want to shoot conical bullets in brass cases. I'd like a 3 leaf sight for 50, 100 and an optimistic 150. What twist rate should I be looking at? Who sells a barrel that I can buy? Any ideas on where to get a 3 leaf sight? Thanks.
