Re: 16 bore Fosbery HP

Seems to me, my friend who collected old DR's at one time, had an early John Blissett in 12 bore - fully rifled, with Lefaucheau-type action. I could be wrong on the make - it's been 20 years since I saw his collection. At the time, I was more intersted in the 10 bore Westley Richards shotgun and 5 bore ball and shot gun cap-lock he had H&H re-furbish to new with fitted case made for the 10 bore.

The WR had been fired less than a dozen times, according to H&H. They said "it will loosen up with a bit of use." You see, the action was a bit stiff in operation and that's why Will sent it to them in the first place as he thought it was damaged.
