I have an interesting situation where the groups produced by my rifle choked Evans are roughly the same size at 50 and 100 yards. At 50 yards I am getting some verticle spread to the group and at 100 yards, the groups tend to display horizontal spread. I shot today and, in british fashion, the 6-shot 50 yard group is 3 1/2" x 4 3/8" while at a hundred, 6 shots went into a rectangle 2 3/4" X 5". I attribute this to the combination of the British sights and/or the targets which are the 100 yard military rifle type with a 6 3/8" black (target SR-1). I'm wondering if there is a better choice of target to help me keep the sights lined up right... What do you use? Thanks in advance for you help. |
