Re: Paradox hand crimp tool for paper hulls - HELP !

Update 7/19

Good day at the range. Hot as He!! and humid.
But it meant I had the range to myself.
Set up the chrony and a target at 50 yds.

The brass loads with SR4759 were Horrible, felt like a delayed ignition and incomplete powder burn.
So back to 800X and round balls for that one.

The SR4759 and the paper multi-hulls with Federal wad with petals cut off and nitro cards were good.
I got decent regulation and velocity.
The soft lead slugs caused some leading, so I think I need to relube them after sizing.
No tumbling and recovered slugs still exhibited engraving from the chokes.
I will try the hard cast slugs, since I am sizing them to bore size, this should reduce leading.

I will post pictures of the targets and the velocity strings from the chrony.

I also put the conversion tubes in and did some 45-70 loads.
Very happy with those results also.

Same as above more details to come.

Both loads and calibers shoot well enough to the sights, Bonus.

Cheers
Nitro
