Gents: Shortly I will put up my 4-bore Hughes for sale. Price will be determined soon and will be listed on my website as POR--please call for price and details. Today I posted 16 photos of the Hughes on calpappas.com under the section of double rifles for sale. I hate to part with this cannon but I need to upgrade and another is coming up for sale after the first of the year. I will have the Hughes at the Dallas and Reno Safari Club shows in January.

The Hughes has 28-inch barrels, weighs 22 pounds, has a bore diameter of .975", Jones under lever, exposed and rebounding hammers, regulated for 14 drams and a conical bullet of 1882 grains, rifling is one turn in 50 inches (approximately), was owned my Maynard Buehler in the 1950s-60s, and is quite accurate with a variety of loads.
