Nope Sarg, it was all I could do to scrounge up for this one. That Westley looked like a nice gun, bolted safety, 4" case, etc. Ammo is incredibly simple to make, once you have cases. My loading kit consists of a mallet, dow, punch, and depriming anvil. Dave Casey at Rocky Mountain Cartridge is a godsend. The brass cases, made at the normal papercase thickness, never wear out or need to be resized. The other source for 8 bores is to swag the head down on plastic industrial cases, which are surprisingly inexpensive. Wads are fairly easy to find, but it is just as easy to make your own. Buying wads and casting bullets, my materials come to $.54 per shot. Compare that to a 470! Bob |
