Sounds as though you have a specific gun in mind? Big 8's in good condition are in the 25k+ range but shootable guns can be found cheaper. A Holland single 8 did not sell, I think, in the last Greg Martin auction. Perhaps that gun is stll available, the low estimate was 15K.
