The plastic in the 8bore cases won't melt,as I've shot
hot loads, yielding 10,000 ft lbs in my 8GA FH
bolt action.Now the plastic wad cup, that is used with kiln
gun slugs melts a little, but a card protected it ok
for me. I shot 770 gr and 1050gr slugs.Ed.
