Yeah, I have been around a LOT of them. I live near and hunt in country that's got LOTS of them.
I have never had a problem with a grizzly, but I don't let my guard down either. You can't spend much time in the Rocky's around Yellowstone without running into them. US Fish & Wildlife Service says that this area has more grizzlies per square mile than any place in North America.
I don't trust much of what they say, but I can tell you this: There's LOTS of grizzlies around there. They may be right this time.
