Quite unfortunate. Well, perhaps your prime minster thinks that many robberies and murders are committed with 2 bore guns and that banning these guns will cut down violence.

To back up my other post today, that is an example of the reason for my interest in these wonderful pieces of history
All the anti gun crowd, as well as (unfortunately many "normal" shooters) have no idea of the reasons and background for these unique rifles
My trip to Alaska some years ago to meet you guys and appreciate our heritage is still fresh in my mind

A breech loading 4-bore double rifle must be quite rare. 8-bore I always thought were relatively more common.
