See the GunsInternational ad for description and photos. Perhaps the current owner will allow us to archive the photos (and hopefully higher-resolution images...) here on the site. Cheers Tinker |

Wow!! A truly nice and extremly rare gun with accessories, cased and such. ANY 4bore ( or 6bore) are rare ducks. ![]() |

Beautiful gun. I am sure it has seen the inside of a howdah on several occasions. |

Nice to see , pics are better on the home site . I remember seeing the pair for sale years ago at Cape Outfitters (the ad) & wondering why some one would need a pair of 4 Bores , thinking one would do the job ![]() Found it ! ![]() |

Yeah, it's a cool one for sure. I think one of our fellow members here may have actually shot it some time in the past week or so -- I'll be interested to see if anyone chimes up on it in the next few days. Also I'd really like to see higher-resolution photos. Maybe we need to send a request to the seller. Cool locks on that thing too. Notice the safety-sear arrangement on the tumbler? Cheers Tinker |

I've known and seen this gun for over a decade. It is one of the best and was owned by a good friend here in Alaska and now is owned by another friend in the lower 48. It is one of a pair that sold about 12-15 years ago (if memory serves), shoots very well. It has slow twist and is made for a 1400-grain round ball. Chamber size is a 4, bore size is a 5, proofed as a 6. Cheers, Cal |

It sold for $109,250 with comission. Anyone know to whom? Congrats to the new owner! Bob |
