Greener bore rifle at auction

A WW Greener 12 bore rifle is coming up for auction soon. I'm thinking about putting in a bid, and am wondering if people might offer their thoughts on it.

looks neat but this is the only Bore rifle I've ever seen with a 22" bbl....seems awful short, be a fun gun for the howdah though. Steve

At 6 3/4 lbs. it's going to be a handful when you touch the trigger!

I understand that the barrel is longer than it appears in the photo - the photo is cropped, shortening the appearance of the barrel. I have asked for details of barrel length, and will post when details are received.

I've just checked with the auctioneers, and they confirm the rifle has a 22 inch barrel. Do people feel this is too short? Advantages? Disadvantages?
